‘It’s a triumph… the best new record this year’ **** Mojo
Once upon a time there was a man called Dan who used a name called Manitoba and then changed it to CARIBOU. He made music full of intricacy and joy and sunshine and heart and magic. Every ear that his music touched fell under its spell. Then April rolled around and there was a new record to fall in love with. It was called ‘Swim‘. And it was wonderful.
Basically what I’m saying is if you’ve been waiting at a rural bus stop for 10 years on your way to woolies to see what’s fresh in the musical bargain bucket then by now you may have missed Caribou. Which is a disaster because the music is so life affirmingly mesmerisingly splendid that failure to discover soon may result in your life having been totally futile.
Fortunately you can click here and Spotify will provide relief.

Perhaps you missed this? - carve 25 minutes out of your schedule and watch this BRILLIANT C4 documentary on ‘Blame it on the Boogie’. Heartbreaking but really interesting. Watch HERE.

They are not from Egypt and they do not make Hip Hop. They do, however, make dark, melodic grunge gems, sensational lush scuzzy pop, and a rythym section that make me think that ESG and Mani from the Roses got together and made a baby and called it brilliant. We couln’t be happier to have signed them because we all think they’re fookin marvellous. Check out the video for ‘Wild Human Child’ below and do venture across the internet to see more here.
